Italy Shaolin Fist Union and Italy Liang Long Guan Wushu Association Jointly Host the Chan Wu Summer Camp Activities

In response to extensive Kungfu lovers’ great demand, Shi Yanhui, head of the Italy Shaolin Fist Union, and Gianfranco Russo, president of the Italy Liang Long Guan Wushu Association, jointly sponsored and hosted a 5-day Chan Wu summer camp campaign in the Pescasseroli national forest park from May 29 to June 2 in 2022. Around 30 people attended the event.

During the event, Shi Yanhui gave Shaolin Temple’ s abbot Shi Yongxin’ s gratitude and wishes to everyone and hoped that people could take it as a chance to relax body and mind and get free by intensively practicing Shaolin Kungfu and experiencing Shaolin Chan and the like.

In January, China Songshan Shaolin Temple and all Shaolin cultural centers from around the world jointly held the world Shaolin Kungfu online competition, which started a craze of enthusiasts’ favour for Shaolin culture again. At that time, there were more than 200 players registered in the Italy Shaolin Fist Union, participating in nearly 300 events and winning many prizes.

The Italy Shaolin Fist Union takes it as a chance to strengthen the efforts to carrying forward and spread of Shaolin culture by holding the event, under the guidance of Shi Yanhui. The 5-day courses were arranged closely and orderly including Shaolin Kungfu, Shaolin Chan cultivation, Shaolin Chan medicine, regimen and others while there were also a 8-hour strengthened training every day. 

Students hoped that the Italy Shaolin Fist Union could often host similar activities and deepen the understanding of traditional Chinese culture and Shaolin culture. Meanwhile they also devoutly thanked the union created a pure, peaceful learning environment to make people not only get practice but also receive physical and mental pleasure.

Shi Yanhui expressed that the Italy Shaolin Fist Union will persistently carry forward traditional Chinese culture and Shaolin culture and benefit more sentient beings to make more overseas Shaolin culture enthusiasts be able to understand and experience Shaolin culture and practice Shaolin Kungfu at close range.
