The Grand Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Global Shaolin Kungfu Games Finals Held

On July 13, 2024, people at home and abroad gathered in the Songshan Mountain in summer, drawing attention from around the world. “Shaolin Kungfu Star” of all continents, took around one year to be chosen from the six contients including 101 countries and 168 cities. More than 20, 000 Shaolin practitioners 2, 400 of whom entered the intercontinental competition. Finally a total of 124 participants from 47 countries and areas were born. They led their team arrived in the holy land of Shaolin Kungfu--China Songshan Shaolin Temple, competing with 20 participants or masters from China, and witnessed the birth of top 10 Shaolin Kungfu Star and overseas distinguished figures of the intangible cultural heritage transmission together.

Meanwhile Shaolin Chan cultivation, Shaolin regimen, Shaolin Kungfu and Shaolin Chan medicine were also open at their own halls or departments, sharing healthy Shaolin lifestyle with people from around the world, making the public deeply experience Shaolin culture with a history of thousands of years.
