Qingyun Temple in Shantou Holds the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition to Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of China

On the morning of Oct 27, 2024, Qingyun Temple in the Jinping area of Shantou grandly held the “Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of Radiance Like Chrysanthemum in the Autumn, Vitality Like a Pine Tree in the Spring-- to Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of China & the 14th Anniversary the Construction of the Wande Zhuangyan Hall”.

The exhibition location of which at the Wande Zhuangyan Hall of the Qingyun Temple, directed by the Bureau of Religious Affairs and the Buddhist Association of the Jinping Area of Shantou, and co-organized by the Guangdong Hard Pen Calligraphy Association and Shantou Calligraphers Association.

Master Shi Yanzong expressed his gratitude to present leaders and guests present in the event and to all believers supporting and caring the development of the Qingyun Temple all the time. He specially conveyed his master, Shaolin Temple’ s abbot the Grand Monk Shi Yongxin’ s greetings and wishes. Master Shi Yanzong said, 75 works at the exhibition implied meaning to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Founding of China. Next Buddhists of the Qingyun Temple will orderly open various cultural exchange activities, actively promote the practice of the sinalization of Buddhism, and better service local society and believers.
