The “First Hong Kong Shaolin Kungfu Exhibition” Held in the Hong Kong Shaolin Cultural Center

On Nov 2, 2024, the opening ceremony of the “First Hong Kong Shaolin Kungfu Exhibition” was held in Hong Kong. The event was held by the Hong Kong Shaolin Cultural Center, aiming to demonstrate Chinese Shaolin Chan Wu culture and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Founding of China and the 27th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong.

Present guests included: Mr. He Zuxing, vice chair of the World Chinese Union General, master Yanhui, head of the Hong Kong Shaolin Cultural Center, Ms Tang Jielian, founder of the George A Spence Foundation, master Fayong, abbot of the Wat Dhammakaya (Hong Kong), Venerable Sumittha, abbot of the Buddhist Center of Sri Lanka (Hong Kong) and others. There were no empty seats on the site of the opening ceremony.

It was said the exhibition would last from Nov 2 to 6, attracting masters and guests from many countries and areas including Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Uganda, Turkey, Malaysia, Vietnam as well as Hong Kong (China) to visit.
