Honored masters and lay Buddhists,

Spiritual snake brings good luck. Let’ s start a new journey together. On the occasion of supreme moment, I represent Shaolin Temple’ s permanent residents to send season’ s greetings and express sincere gratitude to to Shaolin disciples, believers, lay Buddhists and high masters from home and abroad!

Over the past year, by your accompanying and participating, we always adhere to fine traditions of loving the country and region and serving the society, and actively share Shaolin culture of more than 1, 500 years and form ties with the public.

In 2024, we inherit ancestors and eminent masters’ teachings and shoulder Buddha’ s property. Shaolin Temple completely held the 13th Water and Land Dharma Function in Jiachen Year, the Bodhisattva precepts assembly of conferring lay Buddhists, Qingming Festival and Winter Clothing Festival to worship ancestors, the 10th China Buddhist Medical summit forum, the Shaolin Science seminar, and the Ghost Festival as well as five Shaolin monks hiking the holy land of Earth Store Bodhisattva for worship, attended the United Nations’ establishment of the world meditation day on December 21 each year, developing international Shaolin cultural curriculum to promote the United Nations’ training house, charity activities and so on.

In 2024, Shaolin disciples from the six continents worshiped ancestors and shared the grand event together. In 2024, the Shaolin Temple visiting mission was invited to more than 20 countries and ares and number of visits amounted to more than 300, including the United Nations Climate Change Conference, the First Thailand International Agricultural Forum, the Indonesian Millennium Pagoda assembly and others. Number of visits to Shaolin Temple amounted to more than 2, 000; the international expert argumentation meeting on stone tablets archives application of Shaolin Temple in early July was successfully held; in the middle of July, the world Shaolin Kungfu final was successfully held in Shaolin Temple while 144 Kungfu stars from 47 countries and areas including Africa, Asia, Latin America, North America, Europe, Oceania and so on participated in the event together; in the middle of August, 509 Shaolin disciples from 22 countries reached Shaolin Tempe for worship ancestors; grand meetings held in the flourishing age, the colorful Shaolin culture and millennium inheritance Kungfu holy land has gained acceptance from people of countries, and also promote non-government contacts and friendship among China and overseas countries, with a supreme significance.

In the new year, we always adhere on benefiting people’ s well-being regarded as the root, taking efforts to improve and establish spiritual civilization home of mankind together with everyone. On this occasion, we devoutly burn incense to worship Buddha, and pray for the world and sentient beings. Bless the public for their happiness, wisdom, physical and psychological health as well as everything goes well.
