To Commemorate Buddha’ s Birthday, Shaolin Temple Grandly Holds the Buddha Bathing-Day Assembly

On May 5, 2025, the 8th day of the fourth lunar month in Yisi Year, to celebrate the birthday of Sakyamuni falling on traditional Chinese solar terms-the Start of Summer, Shaolin Temple, the ancestral monastery of Chan sect, grandly held the Buddha Bathing-Day assembly to bless sentient beings with sharing Buddha’ s grace, refreshing mind and gaining supreme wisdom and peace. The Buddha Bathing Festival is held on the Birthday of Buddha, and also one of the grandest festivals in Chinese Buddhism.
