Orange County Shaolin Temple Donates Supplies to the Local Police Station

On the morning of Jun. 27, 2020 local time, Shi Yanqing, head of the Orange County Shaolin Temple and good-heated people in total of 5 people visited the capital of Orange County, Southern California--Santa Ana Polices Station and donated a batch of school bags, stationary, etc. to the value of more than 1,000 dollars.

Relevant responsible persons of the Senate Ana Police Station expressed that they will give out schoolbags and stationary to students with poor economic conditions then. The police station has the special child care aid department to offer help and service for local children who have poor economical conditions or suffer domestic violence.



Santa Ana is a city with a population of 270,000 and also the most affected area by the epidemic outbreak in Orange County, USA this year. Shi Yanqing expressed Shaolin Temple’s abbot Yongxin always concerns about the pandemic of Orange County, calling upon local Shaolin disciples to devote themselves to the novel coronavirus outbreak actively. The Orange County Shaolin Temple organized the donation activities to carry forward Shaolin Temple’s traditional connotations of compassion and benevolence.
